Safeguarding
Safeguarding is about protecting the welfare of children and young people, and making sure they learn in a safe and supportive environment. In the UK, one important part of safeguarding is the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which helps families and organisations know that those working with children have been properly checked.
I, Andrew Durban, hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate and I am subscribed to the DBS Update Service, which means my record is kept up to date and can be confirmed online at any time. Parents can therefore be reassured that I meet the highest safeguarding standards for teaching young people.
